USC vs. Arizona State
Trojans -28 1/2 vs Sun Devils
Last season the match up between the USC Trojans and the Arizona State Sun Devils was a must watch football game, but this year ASU is looking as mediocre as ever at 2-3 and USC is as dominant as ever at 3-1.
This is a must win game for USC after they lost to a Pac-10 opponent Oregon State Beavers a few weeks back. Unless USC has a total breakdown like they did against the Beavers, they should get an easy victory over the Sun Devils this week.
Arizona State has been just awful this year compared to last season's surprisingly good squad. The Sun Devils are coming off three disappointing losses in a row which has seemed to completely deflate this team that looked so promising before the season began.
The Trojans are coming off a very impressive rebound victory over the Oregon Ducks in which they scored 44 points against their talented Pac-10 rival. USC quarterback Mark Sanchez was able to successfully manage his offense gaining 598 yards against the Ducks in which he threw three touchdowns and racked up 332 yards in the air with no interceptions.
If Southern California plays efficiently on offense, like they did last week, they should pound on the Sun Devils and most likely make it another high scoring affair to improve to 4-1.
